Mahimagadi is the birth place of mahima Dharma, which is situated at joranda district, around 30km from dhenkanal. Santha Kabi Bhima Bhoi is the founder of Mahima Dharma. Lots of devotee called as alekha mahima or alekha dharma. There is only temple but no any God Images.

The attractive sports are Gadi Mandir, Dhuni Mandir, Jyoti Mandir and the ashrams are the beautiful spots of mahimagadi.
The most Important festival of Mahimagadi is Magha mella which falls on January or february month every year. It is the greatest and attractive festival of mahima dharma.
